Three Committees have been constituted by the Government to work out the Financial, staff related and functioning modalities for proposed UTs of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
The committee constituted for working out modalities of Staff related issues shall be headed by Principal Secretary to Government Home Department and consists of Commissioner/Secretary Ladakh Affairs, GAD, Culture, law and Parliamentary affairs and a representative of finance department.
The committee formulate for working out the financial modalities shall be headed by Principal Secretary Finance Department and shall consist of Commissioner/Secretary Home, PDD, GAD and Law and Parliamentary affairs.
The third committee for working out the functioning of UT of J&K shall be Headed by Advisor KK Sharma and shall consists of Principal Secretary Finance, Health and Medical Education, Home, Planning and Development, R&B, Ladakh Affairs, GAD, Revenue, Higher Education, Revenue, Law and Parliamentary affairs.
